The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed regarding the large variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area every day. The service place designed for intervention experiences a superior influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tough for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sources to help the servicing of all consumers and increase use here of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
